Plus, our bundled membership model has eliminated the administrative fees associated with as- sessments, and while our members must self-report their TPN sta- tus once a year, a full third party assessment has now moved from annual to once every two years. I've been involved in the global visual effects market since 2014, and each studio I've worked with made content security a priority and was involved with TPN. Here at Alps Studios in Italy, we work on a range of media, including high-quality, premium content providing digital effects for feature films, TV series, commercials, and music videos. Becoming part of TPN was a top priority for us from the start and we joined in early 2022. For Alps, being a TPN member has been especially beneficial as it offers our clients the reassurance that we are doing our utmost to safeguard their content. It also provides our entire crew with strong guidelines and a framework for content security, all while educating our teams as to why it's so important. Being associated with TPN is also proving to be a useful promo- tional tool for us. Many of our clients, especially from the US, are used to high standards of content security, and are sometimes reluctant to allocate work to new studios in smaller markets. Our association with TPN assures our customers that their content will be stored se- curely and that we are using effective tools and guidelines to prevent security breaches and content leaks. I find the new platform much easier to use and it offers multiple ben- efits, saving us a great deal of time. I really appreciate the fact that the MPA Best Practices are referenced within the TPN assessment questionnaire, eliminating the tedious switching back and forth be- tween documents. Previously, a lot of questions were open-ended, but the new multiple-choice answers provide clear guidelines for us to follow. The TPN+ platform user interface is far more intuitive and user-friendly. I particularly like the help desk feature, and the TPN team is so responsive, helping us to navigate the process easily and quickly. We collaborate with and outsource VFX work to a number of other studios around the world. Within TPN+ we can explore the full mem- ber service provider list, check their TPN status, and be confident that those we are working with take content security as seriously as we do. I also really like the fact that content owners now have direct ac- cess to every member service provider's security preparedness in- formation. In the past, especially when working with large US studios, L to R: Terri Davies, TPN president; Kari Grubin, TPN membership services director; Mara Froehlich, head of production at Alps Studios.
