The workshop, taught by veteran character actor David Dean Bottrell, offered techniques to reframe the self-tape audition, including how to break the scene down specifically for the self-tape and how to bridge what the audition process was to what it is today. New York Local on the State Scene O n Oct. 12, New York Local Board members and staff joined Gov. Kathy Hochul and New York state leaders at Judson Church in Washington Square Park, where the governor announced an additional $13.4 million in funding from the Abortion Provider Support Fund. The money was awarded to 37 providers, covering 64 clinical sites to further expand access to abortion services across the state. New York Local Stunt Performers Make a Difference More than 20 local stunt coordinators and hundreds of stunt performers held a Holiday Stunt Hustle on Dec. 3 to solicit donations for Toys for Tots and Promise Place, a women and children's shelter. This event, which took place at Covert Camera Vehicles in Atlanta, was a huge success for all who attended and put some big smiles on children's faces once again this year.
