Several types of hand-made collars are adorned
with thousands of crystals, leather, nickel-free hard-
ware styles ranging from "Confession Letters" to
"Not So Basic Bitch," "Sparked & Spiked" to "The
Gold." Leashes are based on personality, including
"Do the Prance," "Do the Strut," "Do the Trick," and
"The Royal Reach."
Åkerlund is the founder and
co-owner of the Los Angeles showroom, The Res-
idency Experience. She brings her maximalist style
and wearable art aesthetic to everyday life epitomiz-
ing the Anna Wintour quote, "Why fit in when you
were born to stand out."
