LOS ANGELES More than 30 Los Angeles Local members march in the 43rd annual Labor Day Parade in Wilmington, California, on Sept. 5. SAG-AFTRA marched in the procession with IATSE, Actors' Equity, The Animation Guild and many other unions. PIT TSBURGH After a two-year hiatus, members in the Ohio-Pittsburgh Local resumed their annual tradition of marching in the Pittsburgh Labor Day Parade. This year's parade contingent was made up of local actors, singers, stunt performers and broadcasters, including newly organized employees of Pittsburgh Community Broadcasting Corporation and producers from KDKA-TV, who were celebrating the recent ratification of their first union contract. BOSTON National Board member Bill Mootos, left, and New England Local President Andrea Lyman listened to Vice President Kamala Harris speak at the Greater Boston Labor Council Annual Breakfast held on Sept. 5 at the Park Plaza Hotel in Boston. The Vice President thanked the labor leaders in attendance for being clear and forceful voices for the working people of America saying, "You are powerful. You are powerful.
