Y A R A W a n g Ye "Yara" Wang graduated from Savannah College of Art and Design, with a BFA degree in Production Design and Art Direction. Before she came to America, she studied theater design before finding her real love in film and TV. She transferred to SCAD and started her film journey there. Recently, she is a Production Design 2022 fellow at AFI,where she mastered the skills for designing different genre films. She has built worlds for over twenty short films, ranging from Chinese period pieces to American science fiction, including two thesis films at AFI. She is now ready to jump into working in the film and TV industry. A B B I E V a n c e Abbie Vance has 8 years of experience in indie Art Departments, both narrative and commercial. Raised in rural Montana, her enthusiasm for visual storytelling has taken her to the roles of Production Designer and property master, but Art Direction is her true passion. Achieving an MFA in Production Design from AFI in fall of 2022, her professional film credits include Art Director for The Wolf of Snow Hollow (Dir. Jim Cummings, Des. Charlie Textor) and propmaster for Nine Days (Dir. Edson Oda, Des. Dan Hermansen.) She is passionate about seeking a life full of learning, and telling big stories that inspire even bigger feelings.
