Prop master ames roning and his team were instrumental in fi nding or creating interesting, authentic s period props and we were fortunate to have a full time rt Department researcher Lauren aker, who was resourceful in fi nding historical images. Last but not least, I can't say enough about our talented team of rt Department assistants, Caroline Gharis, arper Olma, ade Martinez and Denise costa as each brought their own skill set to the Gaslit rt Department. C The rt Department tries to create spaces where the actors look and feel authentic on camera. It was incredibly rewarding when we received a message that ulia Roberts wanted to gather the entire rt Department—construction, paint, set decoration and props—to thank us for our work. e gathered about seventyfi ve people outside our sound stages while ulia, covered in a COID compliant face shield, told us how much she loved the sets that we had created so far. t that time, we were shooting in her penthouse apartment set. She told us that she adored the space and the way the camera was taking in all of the details of the rooms. It meant a lot to hear that compliment from an actor of her caliber. Gaslit was a rewarding challenge. I'm proud to have been part of this rt Department and thankfully, we had the resources to execute our vision. e were fortunate to be a part of an ambitious proect like this, and I have enoyed watching the episodes unfold every week.
