This was a national organization, but the headquarters were in ashington D.C. CREEP was one of my favorite sets. The D.C. headquarters o ce was recreated based on historical photographs of Richard Nixon taking a tour of the o ce space. I liked how bland and simple the space was compared to the other environments on the show. iewers may notice in the series that the walls of CREEP are covered with Nixon propaganda posters. I wanted to match this design exactly and so the rt Department duplicated authentic Nixon propaganda for the walls and fl yers. fter some legal backandforth, we were eventually cleared to use the o cial Nixon font from the election. I was lucky to have a talented set decorator on board before I started. ennifer Lukehart decorated Gaslit with style and authenticity. en and her assistant set decorator, ill Carvalho, both have an eye for the odd s fl air. Leadman ason McDonough and his team fi lled rooms with decor quickly and e ciently. Rob Tokarz originally came on board as the rt Director to manage the Mitchell apartment stage build. Shortly after that set wrapped, Rob was convinced to stay with the show. is creative eye and focus on the construction department were invaluable. rt Director Mark Saterlee was focused on every location that was modifi ed to look and feel like the s. Making locations in presentday Los ngeles look like period 's ashington D.C. requires focused eff ort from multiple departments, and Mark was instrumental in each transformation. The show had fantastic Set Designers, including Mike Stassi, Tracy Smith, ane uu, lan Farkas, en Larson and ndrew Leitch, with each Set Designer focused on diff erent proects throughout the season. Two Graphic rtists— Drew eininger and osh Mcevitt—along with graphics coordinator ill Salavar, were responsible for designing and implementing every detail that needed a Graphic Designer's touch ssistant rt Director Toi hitaker was an invaluable part of our department who worked tirelessly to keep us all on the same page. ssistant rt Director aime Salazar was focused on previs work of various spaces. This was my third show with a rt Department coordinator aron Nadler who, as always, was unfl appable. Construction coordinator ill Thayer led a team of more than fi fty builders and painters to bring my designs to life. ill delivered A A. SENATE HEARING ROOM. IN PROGRESS. B. & C. SENATE HEARING ROOM.
