To make sense of what he is experiencing, he recruits the help of his two closest friends, Slim Charles, a pimp amie Foxx and, oo, a hooker Tyanna Paris. ith their inexpert help, the unlikely trio uncovers a diabolical cloning operation that is experimenting on the lack people of the hood and controlling their movements and experiences, ust below their very feet! pimp, a ho and a drug dealer in the hood cannot rationally be expected to get the credibility, co operation and action of law enforcement, such as it is. Given these systemic realities, the only resource available to them in solving this crime is each other, and that is problematic at best! I have now finally managed to summarize the tone of this film as a comic whodunnit with a cosmic twist. nd as funny and silly as it all might sound, it also offers a poignant and piercingly satirical look at institutional racism, societal abuses, horrors and, infringements of lack exploitation historically and perpetuated to the present day. ou can call it a trippy lesson in critical race theory. The movie's setting is essentially a closed arena. ut unlike the usual tropes of closedarena films i.e.—movies taking place in boats, planes or haunted houses, this one is set in "the hood," a place that is so riddled with clich and stereotype as to have become almost mythical.
