Scene Around Women's History Month I Hi Mo Ma SAG AF TRA Na Co with various women's film organizations around the country. These events, among many others, highlighted the work of women filmmakers throughout the industry, and addressed the stories and issues women face in their personal relationships and society. The screening was sponsored by the committee in partnership with SAG-AFTRA. The festival is part of the Denver Film Society's year-round initiative to showcase and promote —lms by, for and about women. INCLUSIVITY AND EQUITY Establishing inclusive space and equal access for performers of color on set for hair and makeup creates more comfortable workplaces for actors and helps productions meet stated commitments to equity and inclusion. Presented in partnership between SAG-AFTRA and American Film Market on Nov. 2, 2021, SAG-AFTRA member Ti'any Yvonne Cox, Los Angeles Local Board Member Jason George, National Vice President, Los Angeles Michelle Hurd and moderator David White, SAG-AFTRA senior advisor and former national executive director, discussed how we can advance our shared goals of equity in the workplace by raising awareness on this important issue. CONVERSATIONS IN AMERICA: ‚‚ Vision – The Year We Saw Everything This virtual event took place in New York on March ¦, and was hosted by the Women in the Arts and Media Coalition. Throughout the evening, a compilation of short pieces from WAMCO's full and a¨liate member organizations centered on prevalent issues stemming from , including the start of the COVID-¦ pandemic, discrimination and the rise of social justice movements, and a multitude of other topics.
