Below, MPEG National Executive Director Cathy Repola and board member Holly Sklar. 14 C I N E M O N T A G E A R O U N D T H E G U I L D BAKED GOOD INTERLOCAL BAKE SALE BRINGS SWEET RESULTS M PEG on January 30 hosted an Interlocal Bake Sale, organized through Hollywood IA Young Workers, that brought hungry attendees out to Hollywood. About 20 bakers from various locals prepared cookies and other baked goods for the event. The purpose was twofold. Proceeds went to the Motion Picture and Television Fund, which benefits industry workers and their families. The other aim was to foster cooperation and cross-local awareness among the 13 Hollywood locals of the IA. The event was a success, with a check for more than $3,000 delivered to MPTF days later.
