PEOPLE www.postmagazine.com 35 POST NOV/DEC 2021 STEPHEN CECI The Rebel Fleet in Auckland, New Zealand, which provides production workflow solutions for the Asia/ Pacific market, has appointed Stephen Ceci to the new role of managing director in Australia. Ceci has over 20 years of experience in post production and was most recently director of sales at Technicolor Creative Services. Prior to that, he was the head of West Coast front-end services and operations for Harbor Picture Company. Ceci began his career in a digital lab, constructing image-processing pipe- lines and managing assets and deliverables. His credits include The Eternals, Black Widow, WandaVision, The Way Back, Once Upon a Time…in Hollywood and Black Panther. MICHAEL 'MIDDY' OFORI-ATTAH The Den in Los Angeles has welcome editor Michael 'Middy' Ofori-Attah to the bi-coastal editorial bou- tique. He will begin his tenure in Canada, with plans to relocate to the United States in the near future. Middy's work includes campaigns for global brands such as McDonald's, Hyundai and MLB, among others. His career got its start working on short-form, ac- tion-packed and engaging content at Much Music. He then moved on to opportu- nities at Bell Media and CTV Fashion Television. His recent work with director Kelly Fyffe-Marshall on the short film Omi can be seen on Hulu's 'Bite Size Halloween'. NICOLAS MALDONADO Syn, which provides a range of audio services, includ- ing music composition, sound design, sonic branding, licensing, ADR and voice recording, has welcomed Nicolas Maldonado as creative coordinator for its LA team. Maldonado was part of the .Movtogether men- torship program that originally matched the music & sound agency and mentee. He will collaborates close- ly with Syn's international teams in Tokyo, Beijing and London. During his .Movtogether mentorship program, Maldonado contributed to projects for broadcast promos, show opens and broadcast spots. His expe- rience in musical improvisation proved a key asset in composing to picture, while his experience with remote collaboration and workflow enabled easy integration with Syn. His immediate focus is expanding Syn's music library and representation with new artists. JAMES BAMFORD Colorist James Bamford has joined London's Rascal Post as creative director, following an 18-year tenure at The Mill London, where he was most recently head of color. Bamford has worked with a number of top directors, including Matthew Vaughn, Oscar Hudson, Taika Waititi and Nicolai Fuglsig. His portfolio includes Volvo's Epic Split, John Lewis' The Man on the Moon and Coca Cola's 2020 Christmas ad The Letter. He has also collaborated with brands such as Playstation, Amazon, Guinness and Sipsmith. Bamford's music video work includes projects for Little Mix, Metronomy, Khruangbin and Hozier. His work has been recognized at multiple award shows, including the Creative Circle, Kinsale Sharks and British Arrows. Rascal Post will soon open a third studio in Old Street, alongside offices in Kings Cross and Stockholm. MATT CARTER Creative editorial house Final Cut, in New York City, has promoted Matt Carter to rostered editor. Previously an assistant editor, he joined the studio in 2018. Carter was born in Memphis, TN, and raised in Raleigh, NC. He moved to Brooklyn in early 2017, where his introduction to the New York ad world was as an office production assistant at Smuggler, then as a runner at The Mill. He went on to join Uppercut as a junior assistant/assistant editor before arriving at Final Cut. He has collaborated with artists such as Jon Batiste, J.Cole, Riz Ahmed, A$AP Ferg, Gallant, Indigo De Souza, Gunna and Kat Cunning, to name a few.
