PEOPLE www.postmagazine.com 34 POST NOV/DEC 2021 BRYAN BRECKENRIDGE Sequin, a metaverse content company based in Glastonbury, CT, that provides virtual production solutions to content creators to leverage the Unreal Engine, has announced that Bryan Breckenridge, head of impact for Snyk, was recently elected to the company's board of directors. Concurrently, Sequin has launched a new SaaS metaverse solution called Sequin.App. Sequin's professional services team leverages gaming engine technology — specifically the Unreal Engine — to change what's possible within the entertain- ment industry in delivering virtual production and augmented reality experi- ences. Breckenridge has held positions at Salesforce.com, Linkedin, Box and Zillow, and is an advisor to Verb, Inc. He currently leads Snyk's impact agenda, generating social, environmental and business returns for Snky's stakeholders. BRADY FIERO Cut+Run has named Brady Fiero head of produc- tion for the company's Los Angeles, San Francisco and Austin locations. Fiero has been a part of the Cut+Run family for four years, first as a producer, who helped expand the company's San Francisco presence, then in Los Angeles as a producer and senior producer. Prior to joining Cut+Run, Fiero worked as a producer/line producer, with a primary focus in post. He studied motion pictures & television at the Academy of Art University, with the intention of becoming an editor. DANTE PASQUINELLI Ethos, which provides editing, color grading and VFX services, recently welcomed colorist Dante Pasquinelli to its growing Los Angeles studio. After arriving in LA, Pasquinelli cut his teeth as a post engineer. His breakthrough role as a colorist came from grading IFC's Stan Against Evil, which led to him working on TV series for AMC and Netflix. Pasquinelli's visual approach juxtaposes rich, desaturated colors against gritty textural and atmospheric elements, evoking a retro sense of glamour, infused with a hint of countercultural edge. Some of the luxury brands that he has worked with include Gucci, Armani, Fendi, Lanvin, Rodarte, Calvin Klein and Vogue. Other projects include advertising campaigns for Apple, Nike, BMW, Victoria's Secret, New Balance, Mango and Canon. ROB BANNISTER Basilic Fly Studio Canada, which opened in October, has added VFX supervisor Rob Bannister to its Vancouver team. Bannister first became aware of Basilic Fly's work through Marvel's Helstrom. In 2008, Bannister moved to Vancouver to work as an editor/compositor for Sepia Films. He later joined CIS, where he worked in Houdini, doing crowd simulation on the film Invictus, and honed his skills in Nuke, which furthered his opportunities. In 2010 he joined Zoic as a compositor for both TV and feature projects, and in 2011, he was brought on at Lux VFX to lead their com- positing team. In 2016, Bannister moved to CoSA, working on episodics, such as Gotham, The Walking Dead, Lucifer and the feature The Conjuring 2. And in 2019, he worked as a VFX supervisor, on-location, in the remote reaches of Xingjiang, China, before returning to Vancouver for work in the same capacity on several projects, including Marvel's Helstrom. Last fall, Bannister worked with Crafty Apes, and as an independent VFX supervisor this past summer. JENNIFER FAIRWEATHER Outpost VFX has enhanced its Montreal leadership team with the appointment of Jennifer Fairweather, who will serve as head of production. She comes to the studio from Dneg, where she most recently produced Denis Villeneuve's remake of Dune, and oversaw Apple TV+'s sci-fi epic Foundation as execu- tive producer. Fairweather brings with her 15 years of experience across various roles in the industry. In her new role, she will work closely with production leads across North America, the UK and Asia to harmonize global production workflows, and will support Outpost's artist teams in Montreal as they deliver across a large body of film and episodic projects throughout the rest of this year and into 2022.
