In addition to standard dining room layouts, with semi-private booths and shabu- shabu options, the restaurant also boasts three private rooms set in the traditional Japanese style, with tatami seats built into the floor; each private room seats eight people, and has a view of the Japanese garden. A larger private room has traditional Japanese décor and accommodates up to 20 people. A sushi bar features first-rate chefs and ultra-fresh sashimi (thanks to the restaurant's being owned by a seafood wholesaler); a standard bar can also be found. For lunch, try the Kitayama combo, with sashimi, baked black cod, crispy shrimp, scallop with pickled plum sauce, daikon radish with grounded chicken miso sauce, small appetizers, pickles, rice and miso soup. The servers all wear kimonos, and are known for their gracious hospitality. The outdoor areas of the venue feature rockscapes.
