m ot ion p ictu re s o u n d e d i to r s I 33 EM: Very cool. NM: I'm sure what you do is very fulfilling. That's great. TF: It is. It's definitely a sound designer's dream show. And I certainly have not been able to do it by myself. The design of the show would not be possible without the talents of Mike Schapiro, who has been on board since Season 2, and Harry Cohen, who we were very fortunate to have join us for Picard and also Season 3 of Discovery. We've also had a number of incredibly talented guest editors help over the years. And of course, our amazing Foley and mix teams! We are just so blessed to have so many incredible people working together on these shows. NM: I appreciate you guys being so generous with your time and putting up with my ancient questions from times before you were born. Very much appreciate it. EM: The work you do is incredibly inspiring, especially on the timelines you mentioned for TV. It's continually impressive and so well done, and we really appreciate your time. We both can't thank you enough for sharing this with us. TF: Absolutely. It's been fun. MT: Thanks, Eric. Appreciate it. Picard at the controls If I may, I also want to take a moment to recognize the rest of the sound crew for whom we have the honor to work with and are extremely important to this process. Sean Heissinger (dialogue), Clay Weber (Foley), Alyson Moore (Foley), Chris Moriana (Foley), Darrin Mann (Foley), Todd Grace (re-recording mixer), and Ed Carr (re-recording mixer). Thanks! TF: Glad someone finds it interesting! [laughs] EM: And congratulations on your 2021 Golden Reel Award! TF: Thanks!
