Making Zenimation
When Disney+ premiered in 2019, I was one of the "fi rst in line." Having almost all the
classic content the studio has created over the years instantly accessible in one place is
a delight to Disney fans like myself. But discovering their new content created exclusively
for the streaming platform has been just as exciting … especially watching, and HEARING,
Zenimation.
I had the pleasure of having several conversations with the key players who made the
show … series creator and editor David Bess, sound designer Shannon Mills, re-recording
mixer David Fluhr, and VP of Disney Animation Publicity and executive producer of the show,
Amy Astley.
