ula, alston's fabulous illustrator, leanor ambert, who
invented fashion public relations and created the Council
of ashion Designers, and ictor ugo, alston's lover. is
coterie also included such luminaries as iza Minnelli and
lsa Peretti, alston's original muse and the designer of
streamlined accessories for his collections and for Tiff any.
These creative, independent spirits surrounded alston
in their own elle poue' bubble, inspiring him and
each other.
