Take a good look at the art work called "Happy, Happy" Did you find a white chair, a pink umbrella, a red laundry basket? How are all these items alike? Choi Jeong-Hwa found the perfect spot for this site-specific installation in the park behind lacma. Why all the plastic? The artist wants us to think about all the plastic items we use, have, and buy every day. What does it make you think of? You are invited! We need you to help create "Happy, Happy" at LACMA. Bring your brightly colored plastic objects from home to add to the installation! The installation in this photo was created in New Zealand by the artist Choi Jeong-Hwa with help from schoolchildren.
