Mike Johansen
Mike Johansen/LMGI began his career as a 19-year-old PA washing
dishes on set where he fell in love with the film community. He spent
six years climbing the AD ladder and then, in 2001, Mike created
the adventure-travel series Drop In which he produced/directed five
seasons internationally. He created an early competitor to YouTube in
2006 and produced hundreds of hours of original production as the
COO/Director of Content.
A 20-plus-year member of the Directors Guild of Canada, Mike is now
an LM-based in the Rocky Mountain foothills near Calgary. He draws
on his personal life interests of year-round mountain pursuits and his
past experience to specialize in scouting unique and visually striking
locations with an early eye on production logistics.
