s SAG-AFTRA members honor their peers'
work during the SAG Awards® ceremony on
April 4, the spotlight will also turn to the
SAG-AFTRA Foundation. The SAG Awards®
continues its work in supporting the Foundation's
emergency financial assistance and education
programs for union performers at a crucial time
for members experiencing hardships related to the
COVID-19 pandemic.
"This past year wasn't easy for our industry,"
said SAG-AFTRA Foundation President Courtney B.
Vance. "But it revealed that even in dire times, we
can all come together as one community to support
those who need it the most."
