THE HAPPINESS
PROJECT
Gretchen Rubin's The Happiness Project
is a witty, inspiring read that accounts for
one year of Rubin's life when she decided
that she needed to change her habits and
routine in order to find more enjoyment.
It all started on a rainy April morning
with a habitual city bus ride through
New York City, when Rubin realized she
might be in danger of wasting her life.
She always expected that one day she
would outgrow her limitations. She'd
stop eating the same food every
day, or stop twisting her hair. She'd
remember her friend's birthdays, or
read more Shakespeare, and spend
more time laughing and having fun.
