P layboy Magazine has been making centerfolds into major stars ever since 1953, when Marilyn Monroe graced the very first issue. Since then, there has been a laundry list of actresses that got their start in the adult content publication. From Vanessa Williams to Kim Basinger, the magazine is a tried and proven launching ground to success. Joining the list of Playboy launched stars is Holly Madison, who has a new show on the E! Network, titled "Holly's World." Coming off a successful run on the show "The Girls Next Door," Holly now finds herself on the busy strip of Las Vegas. The show revolves around Holly's life at the Planet Hollywood Hotel & Casino where she performs in the burlesque stage production PEEPSHOW and is a lighthearted look at the goings on of her day -to -day life. The star has been quoted as saying that "It's all good natured and not mean like other reality shows." "Holly's World," also features Holly's cohorts frolicking about the strip, including Broadway hunk Josh Strickland, former playmate Laura Croft and Holly's sweet-as-pie assistant Angel Porrino. Of course, there is no shortage of hijinks to get into in Las Vegas, a fact that the friends take full advantage of. In the premiere episode, Holly and the crew flew out to Cancun for a photo shoot and a little fun in the sun. A drama-filled situation quickly developed as Holly's make-up artist called Angel an unprofessional and incompetent assistant while some rednecks hassle Josh and the girls at a bar. How this is played out can only be told in true reality show fashion. All things considered, Holly Madison and her show seem to be a welcome upgrade to the typical reality show genre, particularly with her lighthearted attitude. "Holly's World" airs every Sunday at 10:30pm on the E! Network. Writer: Brian Murphy Photography: Courtesy of E! Network LIVEMAGS.NET JULY>>10 31
