Interview by: Damion Stein LIVE: First of all, I just wanted to say congratulations on all of your success so far. It's been quite the journey! Like most people who make their way to Hollywood you are not native to California but to Alaska. What was it like for you growing up there? HOLLY: It was really nice up there because it's just a lot of nature, a lot of woods. I was in a very small town so there was a lot of playing outside and using your imagination, and reading. I wasn't really allowed to have a computer or video games or anything, so it was a nice way to grow up. LIVE: You've always done a lot of modeling and fashion. In your bio I saw that you worked for Hooters and you were a Hawaiian Tropic girl. How was that experience and how did that lead to Playboy? HOLLY: Well, I always wanted to be a famous playmate. I transferred down to Loyola Marymount in LA when I was in college. I began working at Hooters to make money, meanwhile I was modeling for Hawaiian Tropic and I got invited to the Playboy Mansion and met Hef [Hugh Hefner] there and then we started filming "Girls Next Door". LIVE: "Girls Next Door" was a very successful show with a strong following and it filmed multiple seasons in a limited time frame. How did that work out? HOLLY: We filmed five seasons in three years now that I think about it. Looking back it was five years ago that we started filming, but we finished three and a half years after we started in 2008. LIVE: You initially set out to be a famous playmate but did you ever imagine that you would end up on a television show with Hugh Hefner? HOLLY: I never knew a TV show was going to happen or the way it was going to happen, but I did always want to be like Jenny McCarthy ever since I saw her on the cover of Rolling Stone when I was little. LIVE: How is your relationship with Hef these days? HOLLY: He is really supportive to Bridget, Kendra and I. He's like an uncle to us., he's very supportive of everything we're doing. And Bridget and Kendra are like sisters. They came out and filmed episodes of "Holly's World" as well, so I'm really looking forward to those. LIVE: Since "Girls Next Door," you appeared on "Dancing With the Stars". How was that experience? HOLLY: I loved it! I had always wanted to do that show. I love the glamour of it and the costumes. I was actually called in at the last minute to replace Jewel. Even though I didn't have the month to prepare that everyone else, I just went in full force because I always believe in taking opportunities. I had a blast. LIVE: In 2009 you were part of the World's Largest Bikini Parade. Tell us about that experience. INTERVIEW WITH HOLLY 32 LIVEMAGS.NET JULY>>10
