everyone, a friend, a family mem-
ber, or even make a total stranger
smile.
I know this is true from my own
past experience. Years ago I was in
my car driving in the pouring rain.
I drove by a tiny, elderly woman
who was outside with no umbrella
and no shelter at the tiny bus stop
just off the street. I turned my
car around, stopped my car, and
handed her my new umbrella. She
only spoke Spanish but I under-
stood. She reminded me of my
mother, who is also Mexican. I told
her to keep the umbrella. I was
happy to share. She kept saying,
"Gracias! Gracias!" She was so
happy to have that simple moment
from a stranger who was kind for
no reason. It changed me. So, #20
was my "Random Act of Kindness"
and still is! Today, I always have at
least two umbrellas in my car, just
in case! So simple, so good to help
someone else and send positive
energy out in the world. Give it a
try and make a difference! It feels
great for you … and them.
Get inspired…
