Jemma Riley– Tolch (top, left) was formerly head of recording at Pinewood Studios and joins the company as head of Foley. She won a CAS award in 2018 for Outstanding Achievement in Sound Mixing for a Motion Picture for her work on Bohemian Rhapsody. Rebecca Heathcote (bottom, left) comes onboard as a Foley artist. She starting off as an assistant director in the film & TV industry on productions like Downton Abbey and quickly found her passion for Foley. She thrived at Pinewood Studios as a Foley artist and has credits that include Emma, Klaus, Yesterday, Hellboy and Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle, as well as numerous gaming credits. A Foley artist, Zoe Freed (bottom, right) brings extensive experience from Pinewood as Molinare's Soho studio expands their recording spaces. Her credits include Baby Driver, The Gentleman, Rocketman, Klaus, Yesterday and Aladdin and well as numerous games. And Adam Okaley (top, right) joins Molinare as a senior sound editor, com- ing from a freelancing background. He developed his career with Pinewood, and has credits that include The Old Guard, Emma, Klaus and Embattled. SIOBHAN BENTLEY, MELISSA TAYLOR, TAMARA BOUTCHER Cinesite, the indepen- dent visual effects and animation studio, has added talent to its London headquarters and made a promotion in Montreal. Melissa Taylor (pictured, middle) comes onboard as general manager in London. Siobhan Bentley (pictured, left) is the new head of production, VFX, in London. And Tamara Boutcher (pictured, right) is now global head of production for feature animation in Montreal. Taylor will oversee Cinesite London's VFX studio while working closely with Montreal colleagues and group VFX brands Image Engine and Trixter. She brings over 30 years of industry knowledge and relationship-building experi- ence, and comes to the studio from Framestore, where she served as global head of business development. As head of production for VFX, Bentley is tasked with leading, develop- ing and motivating the production teams to drive efficiency and continuous improvement throughout a show's lifecycle. Bentley joins Cinesite from MPC, where she oversaw the production teams on many acclaimed films. Boutcher is now global head of production for feature animation. In this expanded position, she will be responsible for the production and day-to-day operations of Cinesite's growing feature animation service slate. ROXANNE ARTESONA, JEFF BOWMAN New York-based creative company The-Artery has signed talent representation company Roxanneandco — run by Roxanne Artesona and Jeff Bowman — for East Coast representation. The partnership comes on the heels of The-Artery's expanded design capabilities. The rep company's versatility and depth of knowledge of film, editorial, design and visual effects make them well suited to partner with the studio, which specializes in creating content for brands, features films and episodics across all platforms. KURT VAN SCOY, GARY DIXON In an effort to position itself to work more effectively and efficiently in global product development activities, Stow, OH's Audio-Technica US has announced two appointments to its product management team. The company's pro audio products include both microphones and headphones. Kurt Van Scoy (left) has been appointed executive director of product management for ATUS. He will be responsible for directing the product devel- opment/management efforts at ATUS. He will also oversee the ATUS quality control department. Van Scoy returns to the ATUS team after having spent four years in Japan serving as the company's global product manager. Gary Dixon (right) has been promoted to product manager for ATUS. He has a broad knowledge of the pro audio market and years of experience in the installation segment. Most recently, Dixon was sales engineer, installed sound — a position in which he served as a technical resource for the Audio-Technica sales channel in the broad contractor market. In that role, he helped ensure the proper and successful implementation of A-T products and technology in the marketplace while determining the application needs of customers. LONGWEI DENG SuperSight Media in San Diego, CA, has added sound designer Longwei Deng to its team. His credits span short films, documentaries, commercials and TV shows from all over the world, including Hollywood, UK, Singapore, India and Japan. Deng's sound design for the Elaine Wong film Where Dreams Rest was awarded the 2019 Sundance Film Festival's Sound Fellowship. The film also earned critical acclaim at fes- tivals worldwide, including a nomination for Best Sound Design at the 2019 Madrid International Film Festival. Deng has also made impressive strides on streaming platforms too. He was the lead sound designer on all 46 episodes of the Chinese television series Joy of Life. The popular series has since garnered eight billion views on Tencent Video, and won Best TV Series of the Year at the Tencent TV and Movie Awards.
