Government Relations WEA government relations work extends outside of the Capitol. In February, WEA was proud to offer members free enrollment in the SHAPE grassroots lobbyist training put on by the Equality State Policy Center. This training prepared WEA members to lobby for education. Following the SHAPE training, participating members were invited to attend the WEA Legislative Reception. This year, we were pleased to welcome legislators, the Governor and First Lady, and, Superintendent of Public Instruction, Jillian Balow to the Old West Museum in Cheyenne for WEA's Legislative Reception. After the reception, the next morning, members also enjoyed a tour of the newly-renovated Capitol building. WEA at Work 1 SHAPE 5. WEA Southeast Region UniServ Director, Greg Herold presents. 6.
