Kio Novina joins 615 N ASHVILLE — 615 Music (www. 615music.com) has named Kio Novina director of licensing. An industry vet, Novina has held a wide variety of positions within the music business over the past two decades, including marketing and A&R expe- rience with Warner Bros. Records and RCA Records; artist management for Jack Black’s band “Tenacious D;” and in production music as an account executive with Killer Tracks. She will be based in Los Angeles. “Kio brings over 20 years of knowledge and experience within the music business to 615 Music,” says Randy Wachtler, 615 Music president/CEO.“She has demonstrated a remarkable track record of success in licensing production music, and I believe Kio will be an excellent addition to our team.” 615 offers over 40,000 tracks across 23 production music catalogs, 60 news music packages and a custom division.
