sagaftra.org | Summer 2018 | SAG-AFTRA 27 Scene Around RESOURCE DAY CATERS TO 55+ Los Angeles Local Seniors Committee members, workshop facilitators and attendees gathered in the James Cagney Boardroom for 55+ Seniors Resource Day at SAG-AFTRA Plaza on April 24. The day of seminars focused on marketing and social media for senior members. The morning presentation, SuperMarketing for Actors, featured veteran actor Bobby Reed, who offered tips for actors on how to market themselves. The afternoon presentation, Navigating Social Media with Inetra Brazil, was a primer on how to use Facebook, Twitter and other digital platforms to stay competitive in the industry. The group served on a panel titled Inclusion Impact: Disability Representation On-Screen and Behind the Scenes, which was moderated by SAG-AFTRA Colorado Local President Sheila Ivy Traister. SAG-AFTRA's National Performers With Disabilities Committee and SAG-AFTRA EEO & Diversity partnered with the SAG-AFTRA Colorado Local to sponsor SeriesFest, a unique festival focused on episodic content.
