Summer 2018 The Costume Designer 47 Directed by Gregg Araki and produced by Steven Soderbergh, CD Trayce Gigi Field is designing Now Apocalypse, a 10-episode series for Starz. Field says, "It's a show of the times, highlighting fluid sexual young people dealing with gay, straight, and fetish struggles … knowing it's okay to be exactly who and what you are! The clothes reflect all of the fun and experimental energy that comes from the journey of finding yourself and your sexuality. Rated R—maybe more naked characters than dressed—it's a show not to be missed!" CD Peggy Stamper just wrapped the reboot of Nancy Drew and the Hidden Stair- case in Atlanta, Georgia. Co- produced by Ellen DeGeneres' company A Very Good Produc- tion and Warner Bros., it stars Sophia Lillis (playing Nancy updated as a long board skate dancer), Sam Trammell, and Linda Lavin. Directed by Katt Shea, the feature is the first of a series following the Nancy Drew books. In Vancouver, BC, to design Possibility, CD Kathleen Detoro with new CDG Illustrator Terry Pitts at her side, says, "I thought it would be clever and fun to design the live-action film of the beloved Dis- ney cartoon Kim Possible, keeping the intrinsic cartoon vibe and bringing it to life." Newcomer Sadie Stanley stars as Kim, the supergirl next door. Execu- tive producer Zanne Devine (I, Tonya) leads the team with directors Adam Stern and Zach Lipovsky. On location in Albuquerque, New Mexico, for a new mystery on Netflix's Original Series Chambers, CDG Secretary Ivy Thaide joins the team as the assistant Costume Designer to the CD Hope Hana- fin. Starring Uma Thurman and Tony Goldwyn, this show has a lot of "heart" as they say. Lena McIntyre, Supervisor Local 480, CD Hope Hanafin, and ACD Ivy Thaide (L to R) Sophia Lillis stars in Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase, CD Peggy Stamper
