Crafted by MGP Ingredients at its 170-year-old distillery in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, the medley changes each year, allowing the distillery team to experi- ment with various cask-aged reserves. tasting notes Remus Repeal Reserve Series II ($85) showcases a signature high-rye style and is artfully blended from more than ten years of aged reserve bourbons and a medley of two mash bills from 2007–2008. The complex nose reveals maple, vanilla, caramel, toasted oak, and bold spice, with a harmonious palate of caramelized brown spices, smoke, and more sweet vanilla arising on the finish.
