In 2017, only 3 percent of the respon- dents captured one hour of video for one hour of completed work. 51 percent captured three to five hours of shooting for one hour of completed work. 24 percent captured six to 10 hours for one hour of completed work. 15 percent captured 11 to 50 hours for one completed hour. 4 percent captured 51 to 100 hours and 3 percent captured over 100 hours for an hour of completed work. Cloud storage may use many different types of digital storage, which clients use, depending on their performance and cost sensitivities. Overall, cloud storage capacity for media and entertainment is expected to grow about 15.2 X between 2016 and 2022 (3.0 EB to 46.2 EB). Cloud storage revenue will be about $2.1 B by 2022. Figure 2 plots the annual de- mand in storage capacity for post production, includ- ing NLE, breaking out direct attached and network attached post production storage capacity. The figure also includes a separate breakout of cloud storage for collaborative workflows.
