Bits & Pieces Loyalkaspar expands to West Coast L OS ANGELES — New York-based creative agency Loyalkaspar (www.loyalkaspar.com), has launched a office on the West Coast in response to an influx in creative demand. The company, which is led by David Herbruck and Beat Baudenbacher, has added Richard Eng as the new office's creative director and Mandy Novak as executive producer. According to Herbruck, the launch of the West Coast hub — located in a storefront on Melrose Ave. in West Hollywood — was necessitated by several new assignments, the desire to be near their clients and because they were operating at max capacity in their Soho space in New York. "This year has been an amazing one for us and it quickly became apparent that we were going to need to be in LA if we were going to keep up with the demands of the relationships we've forged with the entertainment community there," Herbruck says. "We're fortunate to have two well-respected pros in Richard Eng and Mandy Novak making sure the pro- cess and the culture that have served us so well for the past nine years are consistent in the new office." Eng comes to Loyalkaspar from Digital Kitchen, where was executive creative director. His career includes senior creative roles at several design/anima- tion studios, and he also spent time on the client side, working as an art director at Nick at Nite. Novak joins Loyalkaspar following five years as an executive producer at the design company Fish Eggs in Venice, CA. Before Fish Eggs, Novak was post pro- ducer on the NBC show Fear Factor for nearly five years, and a post producer for two years on Deal or No Deal. The company's New York City space has expand- ed as well, now occupying 6,000 square feet and housing a full-time creative staff of 20.
