Jan. 3–13, 2017, this auction offers everyone the premiere opportunity to cheer on this year's SAG Awards nominees and presenters as they traverse the red carpet. Over 100 seats are up for auction in the bleachers that line the carpet, where winners will be able to take selfies, video and request autographs from their favorite actors. The final auction, the SAG Awards Ceremony Auction, launches on Jan. 21, 2017, and runs through Jan. 31. This auction features exclusive autographed film and TV memorabilia, as well as once- in-a-lifetime experiences donated by SAG Awards nominees, presenters, sponsors and media. Auction items will be announced throughout January at sagawards.org/auction. Every winning bid contributes directly to the SAG-AFTRA Foundation's free resources and programs. The SAG-AFTRA Foundation is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization that receives all of its funding directly from grants, sponsors, donors and fundraisers like the SAG Awards Auctions. Proceeds from the auctions benefit the Foundation's Catastrophic Health Fund and Emergency Assistance programs for SAG-AFTRA members in need, as well as its award- winning children's literacy programs: Storyline Online (storylineonline.net), exceeding 8 million views per month worldwide, and BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools), reading to children in Title I schools in several cities nationwide.
