70 P E R S P E C T I V E Right, top to bottom: An illustration by Carla Martinez for the IBM computer room, and a photograph of the completed set. Another illustration by Ms. Martinez with a finished set photo, this time of the deactivated Fort McPherson, home to the new Tyler Perry Studios. The facility had a large atrium lobby space with several large rooms and long corridors converging from four sides. The drawing by Danny Brown is a Gemini spacecraft used in the wind tunnel set. The Alpha Trainer model was drawn by Nathan Krochmal. The Lockheed Martin research facility in Marietta, Georgia, contains a wind-testing tunnel that has not been changed since the building was constructed; both the tunnel and its control room were filmed there. Opposite page: One block of storefronts in downtown Monroe, GA, was altered with graphic designs by Jason Sweers. These storefronts were across the street from the courthouse, and the same street was used for a small parade in the film.
