Torrance Memorial is proud to honor the volunteers who play such an integral role in providing compassionate service to patients and visitors. BABY ON THE MOVE OCTOBER 13 Torrance Memorial Medical Center Torrance Memorial heralded the grand opening of the new Mother/Baby postpartum unit with several celebrations. The new Mother/Baby unit provides 25 private rooms with spacious design making it comfortable for overnight visitors. All newborns will be roomed with their moms. Staffed by exceptional nurses and dedicated volunteers, the space is designed to give our new families the highest quality of care with mothers and babies at heart.
