Individuals can illuminate a light on the holiday tree by making a donation of any amount. Gis received will support Torrance Memorial Hospice and Bereavement Programs. In addition to a reading of names, the ceremony includes a food and wine reception. Nurturing touch between you and your baby enriches the mind, body and spirit for both of you, thus helping your baby grow healthy and happy. You will learn a series of strokes and techniques that can be used in short or long massage sessions to stimulate or relax your baby. You also will learn to read your baby's nonverbal cues, when or where to massage and basic developmental movement activities. Infant massage can promote bonding; provide relaxation for baby and parent/caregiver; strengthen digestive, circulatory, immune and nervous systems; reduce discomfort from congestion, gas and colic; improve sleep and stimulate motor development.
