4 6 | PULSE S u m m e r 2 0 1 6 FLASH MEMORIES OF MOTHER TEA MAY 7 Hoffman Health Conference Center Guests of the Memories of Mother Celebratory Tea came together this past mother's day weekend to honor the memory of their mother figure. Mothers were remembered through story- telling and the sharing of photos. The cathartic event included letter writing and conversation facilitated by a bereavement volunteer. Staff Volunteer Coordinator Amanda Goodrich with with mother-in-law Marjorie Goodrich Iona Matson, Katherine Crawley, Alicia Scoville, Cathi Wyman, Frank Fong, Amanda Goodrich – Staff volunteer coordinator, Rose Marie Sarner, Anne Foy, Tenzin Kiyosaki. Seated: Peggy Tiberi, Yvonne O'Neal, Sue Morgan Pianist and vocalist, Jeremy Adler played music to the guests attending the event. Luminaries served at the event with Novas. HERITAGE LUNCHEON JUNE 9 Palos Verdes Golf Club Torrance Memorial Heritage Society members and donors who have made a contribution annually for 10 or more consecutive years were acknowledged.
