She was formerly an in-house sales rep for Jigsaw Editorial and will work to expand Brickyard's commercial activity. Barnthouse also represents General Edito- rial, Peepshow,The Lodge and Three One O. EMILY MAYER GRB Entertainment, a Sherman Oaks, CA- based producer and distributor of non-fiction pro- gramming, has added Emily Mayer to its devel- opment team. She comes to the company from Alchemy Television Group and will serve as VP of development. GRB produces the programs Inter- vention, Growing Up Gotti and Wide World of Spike. THOM BLACKBURN, DAVID ELLIOTT Charlotte, NC-based creative, editing and anima- tion production studio Limerick Studios has added Thom Blackburn to its team as execu- tive creative director. He once worked with studio president/CEO Mike Kelley at ESPN, and for last 10 years has worked on the West Coast in motion effects and production. In his new role, Blackburn will lead all aspects of the creative depar tment, and will help the studio expand into key markets, as well as define new media innovations. The studio has named David Elliott director of information emerging technologies, a newly-cre- ated role. He has been with the company for 10 years and will now be responsible for evaluating technology that can enhance Limerick's offerings. ALEX ENGELMANN 3D artist Alex Engelmann has joined the team at Crash + Sues/Minneapolis. He comes to the studio after a stint with Microsoft's Turn10 Stu- dios in Seattle, where his talents were called on to create the 3D environment assets for the Xbox 360 game Forza Motorsport 3. In his new post, he will build upon his skills while working with a vet- eran 3D and design team. MILES DINSMOOR, DERICH WITTLIFF Miles Dinsmoor has joined LA's Zoic Studios as par t of the company's expansion into design work. Dinsmoor is a founder and former par tner of Concrete Pictures and BigsmackTV. Once a producer at 3 Ring Circus, his career began at Warner Bros Television. Also joining Zoic is creative director Derich Wit- tliff, who comes to the studio from Yahoo! Santa Monica, where he was senior creative director on in- tegrated campaigns. His career also spans time at Arnson Communications and Pittard-Sullivan. JENN JOHNSON Click 3X in New York City has signed Jenn John- son to its sales team. She will cover the East Coast and Midwest, and will work with the VFX studio's head of sales to secure new projects for the com- pany. Johnson has a production background, having worked at SelectNY, JWT and HBO, most recently producing celebrity fragrance spots for Christina Aguilera, Avril Lavigne and Jennifer Lopez. BRETT LEVISOHN Trailer Park in Hollywood has expanded its ad- vanced content group, naming Brett Levisohn executive producer. TPAC provides clients with enhanced content spanning many platforms, in- cluding DVD, Blu-ray, iTV, mobile apps, and iTunes Extras. Prior to joining Trailer Park, Levisohn was president and producer at production co. Brand New Bag Enter tainment. Before star ting Brand New Bag in 2005, he served as marketing/brand- ing consultant on The Chronicles of Riddick. KATE SOCZKA Chicago's Mode Project has named Kate Soczka producer, in charge of client ser vices, bidding and project management for all design, editorial and digital content projects. She will also manage Mode Project's marketing and business initiatives. Soczka was previously an associate producer at DraftFCB working on agency accounts such as SC Johnson, Qwest and KFC. JEFF DEVLIN Design/VFX boutique Mantra Design in NYC has added Jeff Devlin to its team as East Coast sales rep. Devlin retains his current role as CEO/EP of international consultancy and TV pro- duction company MediaLogic. In his new role, De- vlin will focus on growing Mantra's brand in the re- gion, introducing networks, broadcasters and ad- vertising agencies to the studio's design and visual effects services.
