Mr. Marsh writes: "Although he was a Southerner, Mr. Green made coffins for the Union Army. In this warehouse in Petersburg, VA, there is a hole through one of the beams where a cannonball came through the ceiling. Thus artifice and reality intertwine when working on southern locations."
