SUMMER 2015 | wyoea.org 15 When Liz Crislip received the Education Support Professional (ESP) of the Year award at the 2014 WEA Delegate Assembly, there was not a dry eye in the room. Stephanie Neely, WEA member and parent, presented Liz with the award after speaking about the huge academic and social progress Neely's autistic son made with Liz at Cottonwood Elementary in Wright, Wyoming. This year, Liz continues to work with Cooper Neely, and you can see the shine in his eyes and his love learning from the moment you observe him in a classroom or the library or out on the playground. "Her [Liz's] self-confidence and consistency helps. She knows how to talk to kids and treats them all fairly," Stephanie Neely said.
