getting product from point A to point B in the States, BevLink can also trade globally. Absorbing deleted merchandise from big-box stores and elsewhere, Harvey can hook up deals to market it in Japan, China, Vietnam and the Philippines. He's currently working on a deal to sell Australian wine, direct-shipped to Asia, all from his office in Santa Fe Springs. And, in his "spare" time, he's packaging and marketing a locally-brewed beer. For smaller local producers, Harvey has created a high-volume product superhighway between Northern and Southern California using a "green" fleet of LNG trucks. Small wineries and spirits companies can employ BevLink's services to bring their brands into the important SoCal marketplace effectively and efficiently, with minimum overhead cost. And if they need packaging, BevLink can take care of that too. With his inventive and enterprising way of thinking and his vast and growing network of industry connections, Michael Harvey is the right person at the right place and the right time. No doubt by the time you read this, he will have already thought up another several ways in which BevLink can be of service. www.bevlink.net PHOTO: DAVID GADD december 2009 / the tasting panel / 77 President Michael Harvey in the BevLink warehouse.
