Members can vote online through March 15. Voting is available in a secure area of the ISEA website at www.iseavotesite.org. To ensure that only members vote, you will be asked to enter your 10-digit individual ID number along with the first four letters of your last name. Active NEA members may vote for up to five at-large Category 1 nominees and up to five Category 2 nominees. If you are eligible to vote for electoral district delegates, the ballots for those nominees will also appear on a subsequent screen. Members can also vote for members who are not listed on the ballot simply by entering the name and selecting the local association in the space provided on both the online and paper ballot. The top vote-getters in each category are elected as state delegates. The next-highest vote-getters are named successor delegates and will serve in the event that a delegate is unable to serve. Names of the winning delegates are posted at the ISEA Delegate Assembly in Des Moines, scheduled for April 9-10. Names are also posted on www.isea.org and in the April/May issue of the Communique. State delegates are reimbursed for up to $1,500 in expenses provided they meet funding guidelines as approved by the ISEA Executive Board. Members who do not have access to the online ballot or who wish to vote via a paper ballot may contact Janet Wilson at ISEA by mail at 777 Third Street, Des Moines, IA, 50309; by phone at 515-471-8001 or 800- 455-9358; or via email at jwilson@isea.org. Retired NEA members will not be able to vote online but will receive a ballot for retired delegates in the mail.
