conference. The IACTE invited the Iowa State Education
Association to discuss the challenges new teachers
face in the classroom in an effort the better align their
curriculums with the needs of the classroom.
Iowa 2014 Teacher of the Year Jane Schmidt shows her
support for the Iowa State Education Association at the
"Excellence in Education" dinner which she keynoted.
Schmidt, a teacher from Maquoketa, gave her take on the
"Three Little Pigs" as it applies to the teaching profession.
