Prescription for Success Remedy Owner Michael Issakhanian, Wine Manager Kev Kazandjian and Buyer Dan Krausz at stylish Remedy Liquor in Glendale, CA. W e stopped in recently to check out the sleek, modern two-story Glendale, CA store that is the fl agship location for Remedy Liquor. According to owner Michael Issakhanian, Remedy boasts the third-largest volume in spirits sales in Southern California, keeping retail prices low through volume buying and an off-site 6,000-square-foot warehouse. We were captivated by the newly re-designed upstairs wine room, where a stunning onyx tasting bar and glass-enclosed cigar lounge add to the clubby, low-key ambience. Dan Krausz is the buyer for the Glendale location as well as a second Remedy store that recently opened in nearby La Cañada- Flintridge. —David Gadd C M Y CM MY CY CMY K Liz Thach, Master of Wine D r.
