A perfect base for sake cocktails Beta Lounge in Berkeley, CA has been serving sake cocktails since its opening 5 years ago. Co-owner Gabriel Duran describes Nigori Sake as being "perfect for creating cocktails. With its low alcohol content (~15%) Nigori Sake carries robust sweetness with a delicate fruity character, and its mouthfeel is rich and creamier than some of the hard, thin liquors." Hana Flavored Sake (seen on the right) is also produced by Takara Sake and comes in 4 different flavors. Both Nigori and Hana Sake have been very popular in making cocktails, and are sure to be part of the development of future trends. Cloud Nine (Nigori + Hana Lychee Sake) Pineapple Dream (Nigori + pineapple juice) Cotton Candy (Hana Raspberry Sake + Cranberry juice + pineapple juice) Rockin' Nigori Rockin' Crawfish is a bustling Cajun restaurant located just outside of downtown Oakland, CA. The vibrant energy of the restaurant is reminiscent of riverside eateries in Louisiana, while the flavorful cuisine proves to be a perfect pairing for Nigori cocktails. With 5 different flavors of Sakitinis you can enjoy (Lychee, Peach, Mango, Apple, and Strawberry), Nigori Sake is a vital and diverse addition to the bar program at Rockin' Crawfish.
