Mick Cameron is an import specialist who has worked in the fine-wine segment in California for close to two decades. Returning to California in the late nineties after having lived and worked for several years in France, he would ultimately come to specialize in French wines. Before joining Louis Latour Inc, Mick spent ten years as Northern California Area Manager for Louis Roederer. David Milligan Selections, a lead- ing importer of fine estate bottled wines based in New York, has promoted Alex Milligan to co- owner and partner alongside his father, President David Milligan. Alex will lead the company's efforts to accelerate growth in two areas: new business development and an expansion of its marketing program. Purity Vodka has appointed Andres Zuniga to the role of Vice President, Creative and Branding, where he will be responsible for leading the creative direction of the brand and its marketing communication. Zuniga joins Purity Vodka after a longtime leadership term at Colangelo Synergy Marketing, where he was a Group Creative Director. Coming Together N icaragua's award-winning Flor de Caña rum launches a partnership with global spirits distiller and distributor William Grant & Sons, which is now the exclusive distributor of Flor de Caña's portfolio of slow-aged single-estate rums in the United States. Long the most popular rum in Central America, Flor de Caña has been growing at double digits over the past decade and is now avail- able in over 50 countries. William Grant & Sons has grown into a company that distills and distributes a number of iconic Scotch and other spirits brands worldwide. "With its fantastic range of premium and super-premium single-estate aged rums, Flor de Caña is a great complement to our current portfolio. We look forward to delivering even greater success for the brand," says Jonathan Yusen, President and Managing Director of William Grant & Sons USA. Leaders in Entrepreneurship J ean-Charles Boisset, proprietor of Boisset Family Estates, and his wife, Gina Gallo, winemaker for Gallo Signature Series Wines, were awarded the Chuck Smith Award for Global Entrepreneurship by the John F. Kennedy's University's Institute of Entrepreneurial Leadership (IEL). They were selected for being the new entrepreneurial faces of wine and the next generation leading the wine world forward. Their bi-continental, global approach and inspiring story of dynamism, energy and entrepreneurial spirit were all cited as reasons for the nomination.
