DAN PACK, ELI ROTHOLZ Click 3X has added to its New York team with two recent appointments. Dan Pack joins the studio as head of sales, director of business development, while Eli Rotholz comes on board as director of business development. Both will oversee new business efforts for all of Click 3X's divisions. Prior to joining Click 3X, Pack spent eight years at Animated Storyboards, where he was most recently global director of marketing and sales for the international previs and test com- mercial shop. He started his career as a produc- tion assistant at Aero Film before joining Grey NY as a producer. Rotholz joins Click 3X from Moustache, where he represented companies offering live action, VFX and editorial services, including Bis- cuit Filmworks, BOB Industries, O Positive, Pretty Bird, Independent Media and Method. MAX SEGAL, CLARA FON-SING, MATTHEW WHITE The Association of Commercial Stock Image Licensors (ACSIL), a Washington, DC- based trade association that serves the interests of leading archival footage and stock licensors, has elected co-presidents Max Segal and Clara Fon-Sing, each of whom will serve a two-year term. Segal is director of HBO Archives/March of Time Documentaries, and was elected to his third term as co-president. Fon-Sing is VP and GM of archives sales & strategy for NBC News. It's her first term as co-president. Also announced was the hire of Matthew White, who will assume the responsibilities of ACSIL's executive director. White was the first president of ACSIL and has been active in the development of audio-visual archives since 1986, when he founded the WPA Film Library. He replaces Jill Hawkins, who was ACSIL's executive director since its founding in 2003. SVEN TAITS LipSync Post in London has added re- recording mixer Sven Taits to its sound team. Taits spent seven years at De Lane Lea before going freelance in 2008. He has worked with a number of distinguished directors, including Wes Anderson, Stephen Woolley, and Paul Green- grass. Taits' feature film credits include The Con- stant Gardener, Fantastic Mr. Fox, United 93 and PACK ROTHOLZ PEPE NEFF TAITS EDMONDSON Layer Cake. His TV work includes The Wipers Times and White Girl. One of his first jobs at LipSync will be to work on The Dead Lands, a period action epic about murder and vengeance in a Maori tribe. ERIK EDMONDSON Motion graphics designer/animator Erik Edmondson has joined the creative team at Filmworkers, Nashville. His skills span com- mercials, broadcast design, title treatments and graphics, and will allow the studio to expand its services, adding design and animation to its core post offerings, which include editing, color cor- rection, visual effects and editorial finishing. Edmondson has already completed several projects for Filmworkers, including three fully- animated spots for the Tennessee Lottery. He also contributed to a commercial for Alameda Health System and produced type animation for HealthSpring. Edmondson's background includes 10 years as a graphics designer and animator for Nashville TV's WKRN. JULIA PEPE Julia Pepe has joined the team at NY-based editorial company Cutters. She will serve as producer, and having lived and worked in Chi- cago, brings a Midwest style to her work. Pepe joins Cutters from Mcgarrybowen's Chicago office, where she was an associate broadcast producer. During nearly three years with the agency, she produced high-profile, cross-media commercial and branded content projects for Cars.com, Disney, Kraft and Sears. She is also a skilled filmmaker, having written, produced and directed indie films focused on a wounded Marine and other soldiers returning home from Afghanistan. CHRISTOPHER NEFF The bi-coastal production company Tool has added EP Christopher Neff to its digital team. He joins Tool following time as director of inter- active production at 180LA, and brings a wealth of agency experience to the production side. At 180LA, Neff spearheaded the interactive com- ponent of Pepsi's soccer-themed Now is What You Make It. He also worked on HP's interactive YouTube experience, 2Days Beat, and on Sony's Google Earth-enabled, Facebook-based $1 mil- lion digital treasure hunt.
