The Ashe Academy empowers students and families of color with the knowledge and resources to successfully complete higher education while providing parental engagement, scholarships, mentorships, and support services to aspiring scholars at the helm of excellence. Harman designs and engineers connected products and solutions for a variety of industries. Harman is admired by audiophiles, musicians, and the entertainment venues where they perform around the world. Harman's leading brands include AKG ® , Harman Kardon ® , Infinity ® , JBL ® , Lexicon ® , Mark Levinson ®, and Revel ® . They have shown a commitment to education through mentoring and we are excited to have Harman join us in our mission. The Space Games Federation (SGF) is establishing itself as the international organizing and sanctioning body for games in zero gravity. Sports as you all know is entertainment and space is certainly in our future. SGF has challenged students and developers to come up with potential games that could be played in space and are down to five finalists. Soon, in collaboration with EIPMA, we will follow up with another challenge, which we believe is an excellent educational opportunity for students and entertainment industry professionals to think "outside-the-box." How does one organize and cover for broadcast a sports competition in zero gravity? During the challenge, mentoring conversations and Q&A with EIPMA/SGF and partner experts will help with the process and will be covered live and be available online. Stay tuned for future announcements on this… Very exciting, seeing the international opportunities that the area of space and entertainment provide. Our website is growing as well. With interest about EIPMA coming in from international sources, we have decided to add a translation capability to our website so that our information will become available to others who do not read English. Speed mentoring continues during the summer. EIPMA & KMD Pro Speed Mentoring™ held a speed- mentoring session with present and past students from the UCLA graduate school, Department of Film, Television, and Digital Media.
