Not Your Average Air Fare W hen Quantas Airlines announced a partnership with celebrity chef Neil Perry, hungry travelers around the world breathed a sigh of relief. Said Quantas CEO Simon Hickey, "If this is airline food, sign me up. I'll take it!" Together Perry and Quantas have put together an in-light food and drink menu that puts the emphasis on all Australia has to offer. Class in a Glass T he School of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University has turned its Sonoma State Cellars winemaking project into a graduate class (BUS 525W Wine Business Experience), taught by Stephen Sterling, Adjunct Professor and owner of Esterlina Vineyards in Anderson Valley and Everett Ridge in Dry Creek Valley. Produced with the help of Erik Miller, owner and winemaker of Kokomo Winery, the program celebrated its second release in April at Timber Crest Farms in Dry Creek Valley, where Kokomo Winery produced and sold 25 cases of 2011 Sonoma State Cellars Cuvée. —D.P.W. may 2013 / the tasting panel / 19
