Guillory
Ashley R. Guillory loves drawing. She graduated
from the Savannah College of Art and Design in
with her FA in illustration with a minor in
drawing. She graduated with her MFA in comics
from the California College of the Arts. Originally
from ashington State, she lives in urbank,
storyboarding projects like 20th Century Fox's The
New Mutants and CS All Access's The Stand.
I've always wanted to make a story like Del Toro
or Miyazaki where the monster isn't the villain
but is there to help. La Llorona meets Rosemary
Well's Voyage to the Bunny Planet, this is a small
section of a story about a sea witch who adopts
abused and run away children. I wanted to use
this comic to explore the freedom comics give
you and the uniqueness of the medium.
