R O D R I G U E Z Even though Comic-Con was cancelled this year for the first time in its fifty-year history, PERSPECTIVE is still determined to celebrate the genre and the artists that create it. For the past seven years the magazine has featured ADG artists who share a passion for comics, showing works in development or pages done specifically for this issue, along with many feature articles on T shows and films of interest to the Comic-Con crowd. This year we have a mix of new members and old, all bold enough to fill a blank page or screen with art and story to share. There is real courage displayed here when they choose to bare their souls and put this very personal work out for fellow members to enjoy. Maybe their contribution will find its way onto the big and small screens one day, or inspire others to share their stories. On the following pages are works by Ashley R. Guillory, enton ew, Ed Laroche, incent Lucido, oshua cevitt and ames Zark, contributing to comics in PERSPECTIVE for 2020. These are amazing pieces and I can't wait for you to experience them. Even though there will not be a convention in San Diego this year, at least we'll get a taste of it here. It's comforting to know that this small unofficial part of Comic-Con didn't get cancelled. Next year when hundreds of thousands of fans of comics and popular culture are rubbing elbows and stopping traffic, we will plan to be back in these pages for an eighth year as we continue to celebrate this graphic form. Let's take a deep breath and remember to appreciate the organized chaos that is so exciting, when fans all get together and geek out.
